TASKS
Space It Up was the first project of team "KernKraft" (later CoreCraft) to be realised into a working game. Concepting, iterating and developing was done by the game design team. Our game director pitched the idea with the words 360° space Tetris. The game is based on a 2D grid array, programmed by Alexander Rasch.
My job were managing, organizing and distributing programming tasks as well as programming a pathfinding algorithm to check if tile groups are still connected to the main station. Programming the destruction of debris parts and regrouping remaining tiles if necessary was also one of my tasks. Additonally I helped with the first iterations of the debris movement.
