DESCRIPTION

University Project semester 3:

Task: Developing a game with focus on narration.

Inspired by Disney's "Atlantis: The Lost Empire".

After the appearance of a gigantic sinkhole in the atlantic ocean, an international research team set out to explore an unknown civilization hidden in a kilometre-long cave system. The player takes the role of a scout who explores the caves lying ahead.

TASKS

In Altum is the first 3D project of team CoreCraft. Together with Lukas Becker I wrote the story behind "In Altum". Our team is well coordinated that way we concepted and planned the game together while already working on it. Because of the ongoing pandemic situation we were short on time but still managed to design and produce a working prototype from scratch in less than three months.

My tasks were programming the player movement and smaller scripts for new puzzles. I also managed the organization and distribution of other programming tasks and wrote parallel the game story.

I also createed a backup level from scratch.
