The player takes the role of Helsing, a monster send by the church to kill Dracula in his castle. A 3D rogue lite retro shooter with random spawning levels, fast paced action gameplay and an thrilling story.

TASKS

Helsing is the fourth project of team CoreCraft and the first time we worked with the Unreal Engine 4. In this project we worked with many iterations to fine tune the movement and AI. Weekly alpha versions and team meetings ensured a smooth communication and quick solutions to problems.

My tasks were managing, organizing and distribution of programming tasks, programming of the enemy AI, enemy spawn and combat system,  enemy base and child characters, instantiation system for Unreal level instances and programming of a, in a later iteration discarded, item shop as well as writing the game story together with Lukas Becker.
